Alex Cuba is a Singer-songwriter from Artemisa, Cuba (1 hour west of Havana) and resides in Smithers, B.C. Musically, he lives everywhere in between. His trademark sugarcane-sweet melodies, pop-soul hooks and rock chords subtly subvert commonly held notions of what Cuban music is. Alex is on the vanguard, crafting a cross-cultural sound that mirrors his geographical journey.
Geoff Berner is a Vancouver singer-songwriter with an openness to experimentation with a spirited Eastern European klezmer influences and a punk rock attitude which has resulted an an innovative and engaging genera of music. the Globe and Mail called Geoff “The Avenging Angel of klezmer”
Rachelle Van Zanten is a Canadian songstress and slide guitarist, whose raw melange of blues, folk, Americana and serious guitar-shredding is currently shaking up an audience of its own.
