A Night Out for Music Heals Canada
Feat. Spoon River, The Wandering Halls, Eric Campbell and the Dirt and Random Dander
No service charges on tickets bought at Red Cat, Neptoon & Dandelions
The Music Heals Charitable Foundation helps raise awareness of the healing powers of Music and fundraises to increase access to Music Therapy for patients in children’s hospitals, senior’s homes, palliative care, AIDS & HIV programs, bereavement, and more. Music Therapy is the skillful use of music and musical elements by an accredited music therapist to promote, maintain, and restore mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. $1 of every ticket sold to the show will be donated to Music Heals Canada.
Many parted harmonies, Hammond Organ, Wurlitzer Stage Piano, Mouth Harp, amplifiers loud but not so loud, and always the specter of a drunken orange moon reeling in the sky like the terrifying wild eye of some misbegotten giant.
GARAGE ROCK SURF PARTY
The Wandering Halls
Rock & Roll Dark Desert psych
Eric Campbell & The Dirt
The Dirt is a band that spumes all squalor and horror, torn from pages of the bible and dirty novels alike, an all together primal climax of outlaw rocknroll.
Wiping off the dander dust from a shelf one day while working a day job at a grocery store, Oke Chornick started repeating the phrase “Random Dander” and thought it would be the perfect name for the freewheeling, high energy vibe of her six piece (now four guys, two girls) band that’s become a dominant force in the Vancouver, BC area since 2011.
