Crystal Pistol's Last Stab At Rock'n'Roll!
Nim Vind, Danger Thrill Show, Bloody Betty, Starboys, The Toxiks, Glorywhore, Smash Alley
A One Night Only Valentine's Day Reunion Extravaganza showcasing Crystal Pistol's final performance, giving folks something to hate again... cause everyone hates you when you love rock 'n' roll!
Featuring a plethora of local talent, this night will be a legendary send-off for one of Vancouver's most unforgettable bands!
Reuniting for one night only, Crystal Pistol made a name for themselves as a hard rock freight train with jet engine guitar, air-punching anthems and stadium-sized choruses. One of the hardest-partying live acts in the city, they were sure to combust, but now you can relive the legend that saw them featured in Bruce McDonald's "Love Crimes of Gillian Guess", touring Europe and releasing an acclaimed album via Universal-distributed Alert Records. Tapping the energy found in classic GnR, Motorhead and Stooges, "Let’s Rock" takes on Commandment proportions with Crystal Pistol!
Nim Vind invites listeners into his dark and stormy world with smooth baritone vocals soaked in mental patient poetry, skillfully driven by throwback guitar riffs, monstrous bass grooves and pounding drum beats. Fresh off a North American tour supporting Gary Numan, Nim and his band of real life brothers deliver sci-fi horrorpunk that inhabits a void bridging Bauhaus, The Doors, David Bowie and Edward Scissorhands. Featuring the Todd Rundrgen-mixed "Astronomicon", his new album Saturday Night Séance Songs just won Album Of The Year at Rue Morgue, the world's biggest horror movie mag!
Neil E. Dee's Danger Thrill Show
Neil E. Dee has been performing bizarre, fascinating, dangerous and unusual live acts to astounded audiences everywhere for over a decade. A modern day sideshow extravaganza, you'll thrill to Neil hanging weights from his eyes and swallowing solid steel swords, joined by his accomplices, Matt Alaeddine, The World's Fattest Contortionist, and sinful Lost Girls burlesque darling Nite Mare!
Bloody Betty & The Deadly Sins
Bloody Betty & The Deadly Sins have been selling their own brand of sex and violence-infused entertainment across BC for 7 years, always leaving a trail of entrails in their wake with a mix of burlesque, performance art, inappropriate humour, gratuitous violence and mindblowing special effects. A regular performer and guest at Sin City and described by fans as "Gwar with nicer tits", their "Gorelesque" performances make light of humanity's darkest subjects!
Starboys reunited for this special 25th anniversary performance after a long hiatus, Starboys deliver punk and metal mixed with a bit of rockabilly and a keen East Van sense of humour.
From the ashes of Static In The Stars, Lust Boys and Sound City Hooligans, The Toxiks alchemically fuse the energy of influences including Motorhead, Bad Religion, Turbonegro and Black Sabbath.
With a violently combustable energy and sexy swagger, these Vancouver glam-punk rockers put on a soundboard-exploding show!
These genius deviants create a searing wall of rock'n'roll sounds influenced by Satan!
